Thanks for the reply, I actually found a way by the time I read this. I was able to create a rotational constraint by creating a slection named point1 and using a command with the following code: /prep7 cmsel,s,point1 d,all,roty allsel finish /solution thanks

Is it possible to create a single axis rotational constraint at a keypoint(point) in workbench simulation rather than a rotational constraint in all 3 axes? I just want to constrain a keypoint with a similar contraint as dk,,roty would be applied in ansys classic. thanks
