Transversal Charpy test on 1026 tube before and after stress relieve

My requirement was 25 ft*lb/in. But 23 has been accepted! Thanks, JP

    16MnCr5 equivalent for north america

    Well, 4 dowell pin hehehe..

Transversal Charpy test on 1026 tube before and after stress relieve

Oh yeah really? Higher number on charpy test with a Q&T ? that's weird!

Transversal Charpy test on 1026 tube before and after stress relieve

Just so you know, after a normalization, my charpy was way better! FROM: 12 ft·lb/in longitudinal and 14 ft·lb/in transversal TO: 60 ft·lb/in longitudinal and 23 ft·lb/in transversal

    16MnCr5 equivalent for north america

Hi! I would like to know if someone could help me find a North America equivalent for 16MnCr5. This is a material from germany. Thank you very much. JP

Transversal Charpy test on 1026 tube before and after stress relieve

That is what I think, but I would like to know, how much. 5%, 20%, 35% ? That's a huge difference. Thanks, JP

Transversal Charpy test on 1026 tube before and after stress relieve

Hi! I would like to know if a stress relieve should affect the result of a charpy test on tubing. (my tube is 1026 11" OD x 2" wall). I've sent my tube to a firm for a charpy test on hot rolled 1026 tube. My results were 12 ft·lb/in longitudinal and 14 ft·lb/in transversal. I need to get a...

    Simulink Disc Rotation (Pendulum movement)

This is exactly my problem, I don't know how to model my situation.

    Rotational inertia with spring

Hi, I would like to calculate the function of a rotating disc that has 2 spring slowing it down. (look at my pictures to understand) Let say I turn my disc 90 degrees clockwise and release it, it is going to oscillate a certain moment than stop. I want to plot that function and to have a...

    Simulink Disc Rotation (Pendulum movement)

Hi, First, I want to thanks all of you for helping (especially Fex32). I'm doing another post because my english is bad and I want to "try" to be a bit more precise. So here's what I want to do; I want to model on Matlab Simulink the rotation of a disc around a shaft. That disc when at initial...

    Simulink disc rotation

This is the application: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgIRu39fH18 I need to simulate that disc movement on simulink.

    Simulink disc rotation

I'm not sure if I explain clearly my situation. It is a disc rotating around a shaft, and the deceleration is due to 2 "rubberband" fix from the shaft to the disc. When I move the disc 90 degree and release it, my rubberband angle change. JP

    Simulink disc rotation

Yeah I need a simulink, is it possible? Thanks very much!!! JP

    Simulink disc rotation

Hi! Thanks for you answer, but i would like to solve it with Simulink's mechanical modeling blocks. Can you help me do that ? Thanks, JP

    Simulink disc rotation

Hi! I want to simulate the reaction of a rotating disc with 2 spring in simulink. On my picture, you can see a disk rotating over a shaft. My disc has 2 spring attached to the shaft. They slow my rotation. http://s21.postimg.org/9q3z9yvbr/forum.png Here is how it work: You turn the disk (90...

Pro/program , string instead of number

Thanks TeunHam for your tips, it's cool. What I want is find a way to rename all my assembly, piece by piece with a trail file. Is it possible ? I tought I could copy/paste the parameter to rename the beginning of my file but it doesn't work. Rename: shipshaw_p1_r1_0 -> wanapum_p1_r1_0...
