Just so you know, after a normalization, my charpy was way better!

Hi!
I would like to know if someone could help me find a North America equivalent for 16MnCr5. This is a material from germany.
Thank you very much.

Hi!
I would like to know if a stress relieve should affect the result of a charpy test on tubing. (my tube is 1026 11" OD x 2" wall).
I've sent my tube to a firm for a charpy test on hot rolled 1026 tube. My results were 12 ft·lb/in longitudinal and 14 ft·lb/in transversal.
I need to get a...
Hi,
I would like to calculate the function of a rotating disc that has 2 spring slowing it down. (look at my pictures to understand)
Let say I turn my disc 90 degrees clockwise and release it, it is going to oscillate a certain moment than stop.
I want to plot that function and to have a...

Hi,
First, I want to thanks all of you for helping (especially Fex32). I'm doing another post because my english is bad and I want to "try" to be a bit more precise. So here's what I want to do; I want to model on Matlab Simulink the rotation of a disc around a shaft. That disc when at initial...
I'm not sure if I explain clearly my situation.
It is a disc rotating around a shaft, and the deceleration is due to 2 "rubberband" fix from the shaft to the disc.
When I move the disc 90 degree and release it, my rubberband angle change.

Hi!
I want to simulate the reaction of a rotating disc with 2 spring in simulink. On my picture, you can see a disk rotating over a shaft. My disc has 2 spring attached to the shaft. They slow my rotation.

Here is how it work: You turn the disk (90...
Thanks TeunHam for your tips, it's cool.
What I want is find a way to rename all my assembly, piece by piece with a trail file. Is it possible ? I tought I could copy/paste the parameter to rename the beginning of my file but it doesn't work.
Rename:
shipshaw_p1_r1_0 -> wanapum_p1_r1_0...
