I was wondering if The Annealing process of Rod & Bar made all things equal in HF & CD.
I realize in QQ-N-286, Table III it refers to note 3 which says, applicable to both HF & CD.
I just didn't know if this also included properties like grain structure etc.
What is the real difference between a part(i.e a large hex nut)that has been machined out of QQ-N-281 Nicu Forged Bar & one that is machined out of Hot Finished Bar?
Are the differences that significant? I know that Forging takes out all of the flaws. But with this material it seems as if...
