    OFFSET line becomes MLINE

    I have a problem in Acad 14 that "sometimes", not all of the time, an OFFSET line becomes an MLINE rather than a parallel LINE. Is there a variable that causes this to happen? Is there a way to prevent it from happening? Thanks, Alex
