thank you for the suggestion seymours2571. when I am using Mechanica,ptcstatus does show that I am using the license for it.What I am noticing is that when I get the error message, I can re-run the analysis again and not get the error.Its intermittent. I have no idea what may be causing this

dgallup, I always use the dynamic trim but most of the time there is never a problem.

I am using Wildfire 2.0 and when I trim entities, the resulting lines do not join at the "cut". I have to impose a coincindent constraint. Does anyone have a clue what I am talking about? PLEASE HELP!. Its driving me crazy

I am trying to create a counter bore UDF but I only need two references to locate it,the top surface and the axis.Pro E wants me to select a third reference, surface or plane.The thru hole will already be there but not always a plane going through it.Any ideas??

I am more interested in changing the default style/color of the edge to be just one particular color,rather than having to manually make the color and surface changes on each part.Maybe some kind of mapkey.If anyone has any suggestions,I would appreciate it.
