FYI... it turns out that there's a glitch in the microsoft windows xp home edition and ug nx, which requires you to delete a file (190) in the registry editor...

i've also been trying to install ug at home (nx version) but i'm having problems with the TCP/IP connection. i'm not using my ethernet card, as i have a seperate wireless card in my pc. i've installed the microsoft loopback adapter but still nothing. when i "ping" my computer it times out...
