Hood vents over hot sections
The vent plasgears is picturing is already manufactured, they used them in 1998 ZJ's or Jeep grand cherokees equipped with the 5.9L /360CuIn V8. They were thermostacically controlled and operated very well, all you have to do is look at how tightly that 360 is crammed in there and watch the heat...- fist

Vent Design
I am kind of in the same boat, different speed though, as rk90gtx. I am looking for a way to vent excess heat in a Jeep cherokee, XJ, when crawling in 4lo1st off road. The engine runs at 210-220F and it gets real toasty under there. The type of vent I am envisioning/looking for is one that I can...- fist
