I want to replace stayed aluminum mast (as stated in a plan) with diy unstayed wooden hollow mast to rig a junk type sail. Can anybody advice what diameter the mast shoud have, provided it must be somewhere in 12 meters (36 foot) lenght. Any information or link to appropriate site very welcome...
