wooden mast
I want to replace stayed aluminum mast (as stated in a plan) with diy unstayed wooden hollow mast to rig a junk type sail. Can anybody advice what diameter the mast shoud have, provided it must be somewhere in 12 meters (36 foot) lenght. Any information or link to appropriate site very welcome...- shermick

brass brazing
I want to braze or solder tubes (made from marine grage brass) to tubesheets (marine brass as well)in boat heat exchanger. The two above technologies seem easy, but I am seeking the most corrosion resistant way-out. Is silver solder (45 % Ag) resistant enough? Maybe something different should...- shermick
