Sorry, it's understandable that you don't understand why I'm doing this. I didn't give enough info. It's a 16" 2500# RTJ Pancake Blind. B16.48 only goes to 12", I believe for that chart. thanks.

Hi, I was hoping I could get some help. I was verifying the design of a blind for RTJ flange that a contractor proposed to us using B31.3 calculations. The material they're proposing to use is 44W steel. I don't see 44W in Table A-1 to get the S value. I know the yield strength is 44ksi...
