I am looking to test a ether based urethane film to ASTM E 84 but before spending $1000 for the test would like to know if it will have a flame spread of less than 25% - I researched on the web but could not find where one had been tested and reported on. Any ideas on the chance of it passing?
We used to but viton spliced o-rings from a company in AZ. They always had great delivery time until I called one day to expedite an order. They told me it would be at least 4 weeks. I asked why the long delivery and they replied "It rained".
Humidity is a factor in bonding viton.
I am looking for a manufacturer who can make me a large buna/vinyl closed cell sponge extrusion. It is a wedge shape, 1" back tapered to a 1/4" tip over 12" surface and is 50' long. First order would be around 10,000 feet - so Q is there!
