    Thanks for your answers...and your care =) The round bar is a forged one, A182 F9. Does it make it better know? I'm not a expert in ASME. Normaly we turn and mill special sized fittings acc. EN 10253, 1092 and so on. Our customer is ok with our manufacturing methods.

    Hi togehther, My question is about the length E1 of the caps acc. B16.9 which applies if you have a higher wall thicknes. For example 12" sch.100 (323,8 x 21,44) Normal length 152mm, but now it is 178mm. Could you please tell me why it is like that? We want to turn the cap out of a round bar...
