ASME B16.9 Caps length
Thanks for your answers...and your care =) The round bar is a forged one, A182 F9. Does it make it better know? I'm not a expert in ASME. Normaly we turn and mill special sized fittings acc. EN 10253, 1092 and so on. Our customer is ok with our manufacturing methods.- gerry23

ASME B16.9 Caps length
Hi togehther, My question is about the length E1 of the caps acc. B16.9 which applies if you have a higher wall thicknes. For example 12" sch.100 (323,8 x 21,44) Normal length 152mm, but now it is 178mm. Could you please tell me why it is like that? We want to turn the cap out of a round bar...- gerry23
