Proper GD&T callout for countersink holes for flat head screws
I am struggling with applying GD&T to #6 flat head screw holes. I’ve attached the applicable drawing that I’m working on. The mating part has press-fit inserts that the screws thread into. need info on passivation per AMS2700-B Type 6 method 1
I will be passivating 304L SS to this spec and have a few questions pertaining to the SS after passivation. 1. Will the passivated SS be conductive? 2. Will this PROCESS effect laser welding in any way? 3. Will the passivated SS pass the salt/fog testing per MIL-STD-810F?- Electret
