    Hi there, Thanks for the tips, im usng 2011/12. How would I make sure the split goes horizontal not vertical? Ive had a go on that tutorial and Ive tried to follow it as much as possible. Not got the hang of this surfacing yet :(

    I keep getting an error that the parting surface must be larger than the boundaries of the sketch, what does this mean? Ive tried looking it up online but I cant make out what they mean.
