Can anyone recommend where i can obtain a set of earthing probes for a johnston & philips oil circuit breaker.
this is the type where a connector is fitted to the front three connections and to earth. extension spouts are fitted to the rear posts and the breaker is racked half way up in service...
The CPC for calculation purposes would be (i believe) the lead as the armour at the termination points is usually only tied to the connection cone were the lead is soldered.
I have a Deisel generator which is 408Kw with a maximum load of 709 Amps.
How can i tell what load the generator will take at startup, as obviously until fully run up the generator will not take its full load.
