Neoprene Latex/Austenic SS Corrosion
Unfortunately as of yet I have not been able to obtain a sample for lab analysis, only a low res picture. The corrosion is a "fuzzy" growth and not strongly adhered. Would passivation help? thanks for your quick...- rogerp

Neoprene Latex/Austenic SS Corrosion
I am experiencing corrosion on ss contained within a neoprene latex protection boot. I'm not an expert, it appears like an intergranular crystal growth. The SS is not under tensile stress (perhaps some residual). I am speculating there are chlorides being released from the boot but there is...- rogerp
