Can anyone tell me what the difference is between NEMA and CEMA enclosure ratings? A link to a comparison chart would be great. I've searched with Google for a CEMA rating chart and I can't find anything.

In this case I will be using a 5800W portable generator to power a 230VAC 1-phase, 3/4hp pump on a manual starter.
I'm most interested in how the generator breaker would trip on a fault to ground...
Thanks guys for all your responses to my question. After reviewing your comments and reading an application guide provided by Sprecher+schuh, I have come to a conclusion. The bottom line is, these devices cannot be used in North America without additional breaker or fuse protection upstream...

As an example, Sprecher+schuh have a model KTA7 that they claim has all the functionality of a typical MCCB, Contactor & Overload combination all-in-one package. I've never seen this before...
