Hello,
I want to sue the output of COPEN in my subroutine, but ABAQUS does not allow to define it as a sensor output.
Does anyone know other ways to use this value in the subroutine?
Thanks
Kind regards,

Hello,
is there a way to get sensor values (COORD) for multiple points on an analytical rigid surface? When I try to create a set, i can only choose the reference point of the rigid body. And it seems like multiple reference points on analytical surfacs are not working?
The core problem is...
Hello,
I already solved the problem:
The constraint between reference point and rigid body was not defined properly, so the elements showing "missing property definitions" were not coupled with the reference point.

Hello,
it depends on which OS you use and if the license file is located on the local host. If it is, you can simply open the Abaqus license manager "Abaqus Licensing" an in the "Server Status" tab the path to the license file is displayed.
On a Linux machine, simply go to the directory in...
Hello forum members,
I am experiencing a litte problem in the following case: I am modelling a cone which gets in contact with an analytical rigid. Due to timestepping reasons, the tip of the cone has to be modelled as deformable rigid, while the rest of the cone is a normal 3D deformable. So...
Hello,
enabling of GPGPU is quite simple, for example you can submit your job from the Abaqus command via "abaqus job=MyJob gpu=NVIDIA" or by adding the line "gpu=NVIDIA" in the abaqus environment file. However, you also need the accordant GPGPU tokens.
Nevertheless, I doubt this is working...
Hello,
I am currently trying to model the tip-surface behavior of an atomic force microscope. The tip and surface are initially in contact. Then the surface moves away from the tip. Because of a thin water film on the surface, the adhesion force which this water film causes has somehow to be...
Hello,
I am currently trying to model the mechanics of an atomic force microscope. The basic principle is like a record player with the needle sliding across the surface. By measuring the deflection, information of the probe surface can be obtained.
Because of the small scale, forces like the...
