    Motor Rated BP

    Help! I am a Gas Engineer and am reading a document with spec for electric motor. One section states "....unless the full load BP is less than or equal to 85% of the motor rated BP". Q. Is BP referring to Byass? If not, what? Grateful for nay help. jjgas
