I'm trying to detail a part thats 14000mm long. I can do detail views of the area's that I want dimensions to and from but It would be nice to be able to see the same arrow and dimension from the main view in the detail views. Otherwise I'll have to put in text with an arrow saying where the...
OK, I have worked out that I can turn off the first or second extention and dimension lines, so that works partialy for me, but does not work dimensioning between two points. Is there a way to show the dimension from the main view in the detail view?

I would like to use a detail view to show a detail of where a dimension arrow starts. I can dimension the the line but the other end of the dimention line goes outside of the detail view circle. Is there a way to stop the other end of the dimension line from going outside the circle view?
