Your processor might be getting too hot and your computer settings might shut the computer down automatically to save the processor.
Check that airflows are clear around the CPU and that your out-take fans are not backed up against a wall.
So I have gone back to a static/elastic analysis. I am able to apply a surface load of 9.81kpa but whenever I try to run gravity it just shuts me out.
