Modal analysis in abaqus
I don't know what mesh you should use, but if throught the modal analysis you want to get the mode shapes and its natural frequencies, you can go to the "STEP" module, and after defining the intial conditions (the boundary conditions), create a new step, choosing the option "linear perturbation"...- Dominvs

Specific frequency to the mode shape.
