I had designed the Grillage foundation to support the guy of the overhead transmission line pole. The ultimate uplift in the guy is 100 kips. Depth of grillage is around 9 & 10 feet from ground & inclination of the grillage is 45°. Now I need an Anchor rod with the eye at both the end. So I can...
I want to know that in the foundation design of Pole structure, how compressive loads & tensile loads are resisted. I had seen most of the design are showing 1/10 of Pole height+ 2 ft as Embedded length of pole. In my opinion that is not true. Is there any proven theory is availble?
