    heat transfer for stability chamber

Don't forget that air at a constant 104F 80% RH will have a dew point temperature of 97F.

    DIY Heat Pipe

If you don't need to reinvent the wheel, I'd recommend Heat Pipes: Theory, Design and Applications by Reay & Kew.

    Cooling in vacuum chamber

A quick hand calc gives a required plate temperature of -14 deg.C (assuming both plate and item have high emittances ~0.9). If you want to use a cooling system you will need a larger Al plate for water or a more exotic coolant. Alternatively you could look at a conductive solution such as...

    correct nusselt number correlation

Try Kercher's correlation. If you can't find it on the net let me know and I'll look for it in my old General Electic Heat Transfer Data Book.

    Thermal diffusivity resin

You are more likely to find the material properties that make up thermal diffusivity. Look for thermal conductivity (k), density (rho) and specific heat capacity (Cp) of the material as a function of temperature. Diffusivity = k/(rho*Cp).
