    do Nylok patches work?

    I need to find a solution to increase the vibration resistance of a die cast nut tighten to a plastic housing. Due to space limitations I can not use a washer so I was thinking to use a Nylok type patch (maybe 360°). Did anybody out there successfully used this "value added" solution...
