Well technics no longer make workstations anymore, so I would imagine that parts are very hard to come by. I will try this method as I feel it might be an expensive job to fix - and as said I have nothing to lose since it's not being used at the mo anyway.

Just a general question about a milkfloats I've always wondered - why do most of the 4 Wheel driven cabacs make that weird variable moaning acceleration/whirring sound when the float starts up?
