Thanks mrMikee I looked up that RISA TOWER and unfortunatley it's quite expensive as I only do this type of analysis once in a while I couldn't convince the company to purchase a copy. So I have do do it by hand. I have not done one of these analysis before.

I am looking for any good references on guyed tower analysis or even any recommended software. Thank you

Does anyone know the specifications for checker board slab on grade placement. it's a 6 inche slab thick over an area of 300 ft x 700 ft. How do I show this on a drawing? What are the min or max area patterns and where can I find this information. Thank you always Rain

rnjroles you are right. It is a mat, It's for a convention center. the soils are highly expansive soils. I know when they pour the slab they have to pour it in a checker board pattern I think but I am not sure so I am looking for specifications on placing such a huge mat. It's 300'x700'
