An error - too many attempts made for this increment

Hi, As I mentioned before, I have a quarter model in Aaqus 6.12 which stands for an entire model of a rectangular plate with a centered hole. I used the orthotropic anisotropic material and defined those 11 constants (c, D, b1111, b2222, b.......). When I did biaxial stretching, I got an error...

A local orientation system in ABAQUS 6.12

Hi, I have a quarter model which stands for an entire model of a rectangular plate with a centered hole. I used the orthotropic anisotropic material and defined those 11 constants (c, D, b1111, b2222, b.......). I also set two symmetric boundary conditions for left and bottom sides of the model...

    Hyperelastic anisotropic modeling in Abaqus

Hi, Abaqus 6.12 provides hyperelastic Fung's anisotropic / orthotropic models. We can directly input bijkl values to create anisotropic material property instead of using UMAT subroutines. The user's manual shows that the Fung strain energy is defined as U = 0.5 c (exp(Q)-1)+1/D (.......)...
