    Mett87: without an alloying addition it would be difficult make it possible but i have to make out of it whether it be dual or multi phase. metengr: my sample thickness is 8.7mm i dont have sodium nitrate and nitride,could it be possible i would make it by isothermal annealing?

    i have sample of 1045 steel,through which i have to obtain a bainitic structure.my question is how could i able to do this without using salt bath?and what would be the soaking time for it after heating through the austenizing temperature?
