ByDesign Thanks
Really thought this had cracked it, but unfortunatly it still doesn't work for custom views, they remain greyed out throughout the process.
Thanks again for your help

Has anyone got cutting data that is faster than 114" or 2900mm a minute? for 12g Cr4, 5" or 7.5" lens. I am using 2kw laser but data for 1500w is equally useful.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes i do get jittering,
I get this when I cut stainless at high speeds, when the laser turns corners dross appears on the rear side, as you said also on block changes. This i think is due to the laser hesitating momentarily as it turns the corner or reads its next command. There are...
I always start with Oxygen stainless data. Halve the material thickness i.e 1mm data for 2mm wood, Use air or n2 instead of Oxygen.
Careful if the Machine is metal cutting only as filters in the extraction system soon get clogged with wood vapours.
Can anyone help me decode the Mazak values P1500 (power)?
Q500 (?) R100 (?) F230 (?) as i have found some cutting data in Mazak format but i am having trouble converting it.
I use Power, frequency, duty, feedrate/speed on an Amada LC1212.
Thanks in advance for any points in the right direction.
This sounds like a gas purging problem, i get the same results when i switch gas, make sure you have no leaks in your lines, I tend to do a test piece first 50mm sq with a hole in the centre, just to make sure the head is purged.
I am running an Amada Lc1212 and am looking for increased productivity on low gauge mild steels.
The latest lasers cut at 20M + per min (1MM mild steel) and they use high power and loads of gas to achieve this.I also know there is a limit to the speed that Oxygen can cut due to exothermic...
