Okey, thank you. But when I have done all that and try to solve, it says that "ERROR
Some elements in mesh "ThinShell(2):2d_mesh(2)" have missing nodal thicknesses in their
element associated data.
ACTION: Ensure that all elements in mesh have at least one non-zero nodal thickness value...
Well, it seems to be the end caps that is not constrained properly. Tried several constraints on them now, but I dont find the right one. I have attached the .sim file so you can see what I have done...
Thank you, BlasMolero, for a informative post!
I have been trying to run SOL101 for quite some time, but it will not solve. I am setting everything up just as I have done in SOL106, and I get this fatal message in the .f06 file:
SYSTEM FATAL MESSAGE 3000 (SITDELC)

Hello,
I am currently learning NX Nastran and I am trying to perform an analysis of a pressure vessel I have designed. I have been using SOL 106 - Global Constraints and have got some results, but it took about 6 hours to run. So my question is, is SOL 106 the best alternative? How would you...
Hmm, okey. I was able to extrude the routing and make concentric constraints earlier, but then it just didn't work anymore. The faces seemed to planar too, as I could make sketches on them.
I thought mechanical routing was an equally good method to making structures as any of the swept...
The extrusion is normal to the face which the hole is going through. When i select the edge of the hole, only information about the routing stock comes up. Part file is attached. http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=4abae5ea-4816-4852-a826-01756afc0fa1&file=frame.zip
Hello,
I have a swept route made in mechanical routing, which have several holes through it. I am trying to do a concentric constraint with one of these holes and another part, but the Assembly Constraints navigator won't let me choose the hole at all. I was able to make this constraint...
