    What percentage of a building electrical usage is HVAC?

    I am looking for an approximate percentage, that I am able to back up that is the amount of a buildings electrical usage that is HVAC. The DOE says between 40 and 60% any agree with that?

    OSA and ASHRAE codes for such

    If I have net rentable area of the office building and total cfm of fresh air fans how would I determine air changes? The building has 369k and the total cfm of osa intake and exhaust is 12k. Additionally I have an 8' x 12' louvre that supplies unconditioned fresh air x 2.

    Is there an outside air requirement per sq ft in a building or is it per person only?

    OAS cfm from louvre

    I am looking for a way to calculate total cfm an OAS louvre will flow. Should I just need louvre area and total fan cfm?
