It would be possible to calculate the volume from knowing the cross-sectional area of the combustion chamber at each degree, but I am unsure of how to do this...

I'm using NX8.
I have a working Wankel engine in motion sim that I am trying to find the change in its 'cylinder' volume per crank angle. Is there any way of generating a graph of this?
For those that are interested, my problem has been solved:
I fixed the stationary gear, applied a joint to the ring gear (and selected the stationary gear as the base), made a 3D contact between the components, and applied a torque vector to the ring gear in the z axis.
