I contacted BI&I and they no longer offer a program.
I am looking at the Ivytech as they claim 97% pass rate. Ideally this is the route I would like to go.
Anyone care to share there experiences with Ivytech?
I would still like to hear more options if anyone knows of other facilities.
I am looking for different training facilities that prepare for the National Board Commissioned Inspectors exam. I am in British Columbia, Canada and the nearer the better. However I am expecting that I will have to travel to the USA. Please post your experiences.
We have had several failures of rupture discs on our steam turbine. The disc is currently aluminum. We are going to try anodized aluminum. The problem seems to be corrosion for some reason.
Another problem is the between the rupture diaphragm is a rubber disc. It always seems to be breaking...
There is some talk about replacing our submerged ash drag chain conveyor with a dry bottom screw conveyor. Our plant is a stoker fired wood waste boiler. Does anyone have any experience with this design. I was trying to do some research on the internet and have yet to find any bottom ash...
