    Would like input from the community on how the industry records required drawing welds on AS9102 forms. I.e., is the feature just shown as "verified" or does the weld itseld have to be measured?

    Thanks. Also, do you have any guidance on gage error in this application? Is there a rule of thumb?

    I am checking a .003" circular runout with a .0005" dial indicator. Is this sufficient measurement resolution? Or, is .0001" preferred?
