Power calculation for 3 phase motor with VFD

Thank you everyone for the excellent suggestions. I should have been a little clearer in my post though...this equipment is not actually running yet so I can't physically measure the power consumption. I think what my customer is after is an estimate of what to expect so they can size their...

Power calculation for 3 phase motor with VFD

I'm sure this has already been answered somewhere but I can't find it...if someone could point me in the right direction? I have a 480/3/60 motor with a VFD powering a blower. Motor is designed for 900rpm but we're using the VFD to turn it down to 800rpm for normal operating and 300rpm as an...

    Pipe Flocculator

Thanks for the info. This is for a small (<8000bbl/day) mobile system and primary separation is being achieved through filtration. I want to minimize the residence time and use a pipe flocculator because of the reduced footprint of not having to use large tanks etc.

    Pipe Flocculator

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with pipe flocculators. Specifically for use upstream of primary separation (not DAF) with a PAC based coagulant and poly for water treatment. Thanks!

    PVC piping for mobile system

Again, thanks for all the fantastic input everyone! I spoke with Georg Fischer (thanks for the tip RigPiper) and they recommend either PP or PE over PVC for this application due to the vibration and stresses of constant transport and outdoor use. PP is considerably more expensive but would be...

    PVC piping for mobile system

Thanks for all the great input everyone! This unit would be used in the southern and mid eastern states so I don't expect extreme cold temperatures. I am intending to include multiple flexible connections to enable the overall system to flex with transport. Keeping short pipe lengths is...

    PVC piping for mobile system

Hello, I am designing a mobile water treatment system and am looking into some input into materials selection. The water we are treating is essentially brine and will be at ambient temperatures. I would like to use PVC piping as it is economical, resistant and light but I am wondering about...
