    vent stack

Thanks. It is natural gas. We normally blowdown stations in 3 minutes, but my load is huge and would require an unreasonable stack height.

    vent stack

Where can I find sizing procedure for vent stack diameter and height determination. I have my max blowdow rate at 1,500,000 lb/hr (799 MMscfd). Thanks. .

nomogragh for sizing a short gas line

Does anyone have a nomogragh for sizing a short gas line?

    water-air slack flow

    Thanks.

    water-air slack flow

Thanks. Why sudden vacuum causes pressure surge. Are saying reverse flow occurs when we get column separation? What kind of check valve down stream of the pump is used?

    water-air slack flow

In slack flow the pressure reaches vapor pressure of the water, water will vaporize and as a result of reduction in pressure the dissolved air will come out(although it is very small). In fact, the air bubble come out first followed by water bubbles.

    water-air slack flow

Thank you for the great information. Is there an article on the net about start up, normal, and shutdown procedure of a water pipeline?

    water pipeline design considerations

Thank you so much, I will check it out. What is the name of the book?

    water-air slack flow

    Thanks.

    water-air slack flow

    Thanks, but why no?

    water-air slack flow

If your water pipeline is designed for slack flow with no air release or vacuum breaker, and you start with a fixed amonut of dissolved air in your water at pump suction, pump it through the pipeline (hilly)and then discharge it to the same pressure as source pressure (pump suction pressure...

    recycle temperature

Thanks. Any idea on solving the differential equations for me?

Will VFD AND MINIMUM FLOW FEEDBACK CONTROL WORK

I trust your judgment and feel good about the control scheme. Thanks you are the best!

    recycle temperature

Thanks. I need to intergrate with respect to time, which shows up on the right side of your equation. I am totally rusty on setting up differential equations. Could you help me please? At time = 0, cp = 1btu/lb/F, m = lb/hr, volume = 6000 ft3 energy balance is: in-out= accumulation, so...

    water pipeline design considerations

To get rid of the air before going to the river (required).

    water pipeline design considerations

stanier, I cannot find that site.

Will VFD AND MINIMUM FLOW FEEDBACK CONTROL WORK

Thanks for the tip. Do we need the pressure transmitter in the control logic?
