    Electroforming question

Mike, Yes. Something like that. On one half of the mold it would be possible to have a hole and have the electrode go in and also allow electrolyte to be in there. Seems like there is someone that has done this. I am still looking. Thanks

    Electroforming question

Is anyone familiar with electroforming on an interior cavity. I have had experience where we electroform over an aluminum mandrel, then acid remove the aluminum when finished. Is there a process that does the opposite of this. For instance if there were a two part mold with the cavity in the...

    Anyone familiar with small actuators?

I am looking for an application (military spec) of an electrical/mechanical switch actuator. It needs to move about .1" at the most. Looking for something less than 1"x1"x1" in volume, preferably even smaller. I want it to move .1" with power and once in place no power is necessary to keep it...

    Rotation lockout mechanism ideas

I was looking for a rotation lockout mechanism. Hold perhaps a 10-20 ft-lb moment. I was looking for something on mcmaster carr but could not find any thing. I am not even sure what you would call it. Something that would be used at a pivot point between two pieces of approximately 1" x 2"...

What is the lowest temperature composites can go

I have a Tg temperature of 190 C for a composite after curing. I am told that structural properties are good up to that temperature ( or some amount below it like 30C) How do you know if a composite is good for lower temperatures, for instance an e-glass or similar at -45C? Thanks
