Ok, took a closer look at the nameplate this evening. The name plate does say "Capcaitor Motor". However, there are not any capacitors mouted to the case, that are typically seen on these motors. It is a Dayton Brand, the nameplate doesn't list any capactitor sizes though. Just your typical...
Yes, this was not a cap start motor. It will start and run without a load on it. I have installed the motor on a small table saw. With the load of the blade (only a 8" blade), the starting amps are to high. My intentions were to put a capactitor on this motor so it would start easily...
This motor does not have a capacitor on it now. I am wanting to put one to it. That is why I am inquring as to how to properly size the capacitance of it.
I am wanting to implenent a start capacitor into an existing 120V 1hp motor. Can someone provide me with the proper forumlas, or reference material for selecting and sizing the correct start capacitor?
Thanks,
The current I am trying to pass is typically 114ma, and there is not an output capacitor. Below is a schematic of my cirucuit pasted in a from a simulator, perhaps this might help.
I have not noticed excessive heat from the transitor.
The 1k pot is used to "tweak" the output voltage to...
I have a design that is currently using a PN2222A Transistor, it is on the output side of a LM723 Voltage regulator, to increase the current capability of my voltage regulator. The circuit is designed to output 12VDC, the collector is connected to a 24VDC source.
The problem that I am having...
I am looking for a PCB mount Power Supply.
Input Voltage: 120-240VAC
Output Voltage: 24VDC
Power: 10W
Fully Enclosed Package.
Does anyone have a vendor or manufacture they would like to recoemend. My current manufacuter is no longer building the power supply I use, therefore I am in search of...
Does anyone know where there is a chart or some form of reference for SAE dash size as to what they represent. I have a port that is 1 5/16-12 SAE, and I have another that is 1 1/16-12 SAE, that I would like to know the dash equivalent of them are.
TIA.
I am really new to fluid power. I have a delta 50/50 flow divider (HPR23). It has 2 inlet ports. One on each end. I was expecting only 1 inlet and 2 outlets. Do I need to Tee the inlets togehter, or can I just hook up one of them.
TIA.
I have an application where I need to install some Belden or equivalent mulit conductor cable in a cable tray. One of the cables I want to use is an 8760. This tray will be located outside. Is it acceptable to use these cables in a tray?
TIA.
I came across a Squared D Ammeter. It is about 30 years old. It is a Square D, part number 63090 214 07 001. I am having trouble finding out anything about the device, since it is so old. Anyone familar with one? I am wanting to know what the input signal is? I am guess 0-5A.
Thanks.
I have an audio cable for a intercome system that will pass from and non-hazardous area to another non-hazardous area, but in route will pass through a hazardous area. My question is if this cable needs pass through intrinsic barriers? If so, will it degrade the signal quality?
Thanks
