i'm not sure its what you're looking for but it might put you in perspective of direction.
I am currently embarking on a project to design a monitoring system to measure acoustic vibration from the potential contact between two surfaces - one stationary and one mounted on a rotating shaft. If anyone could helpme find some useful publications or data it would be a great help.
