Pre-preg materials
Any prepreg material you use will not offer long term impermeability to jet fuel all by itself. A rubber based coating like PRC or similar fuel selant has to be used to serve as a barrior. simple and easy. You should use what is called a Expanded Aluminum Foil (EAF) manufactured by Exmet. It is probably a dry mesh that they supply, but you can use it with wetlayup or prepreg. If you prefer a prepregged mesh, try prepreggers on the East Coast. Newport Adhesives is one of them...- akat

Silicone contamination
Couple of things : 1. Silicone (uncured) present on the surfaces to be bonded is the real problem.
