I think a little of both. I can switch the parameter in the tree and nothing happens, no update swirl, nothing. I can go into the law and hit apply, ok and when the law editor closes, it will update. I'm trying to get it to update simply by changing the parameter in the tree. I fooled around...

Still not working like I had hoped. When I pick the string parameter from the drop down list under Parameters in the tree, the angle fails to update according to the rule. Anything else I should be doing?

Thanks, getting closer. I was able to get the angle to snap to 90 by getting back into the rule and hitting 'apply' and 'ok' but it wouldn't update when I changed the parameter from 'open' to 'closed'. Ideally it would snap the valve arm over when the parameter was changed in its drop down...

Question here. I have a .CATPart with an unfolded flat pattern surface in a geometrical set. I have assigned the body to one layer and the unfold to a second layer in the .CATPart. I see that in the .CATDrawing view properties, the layer can be selected. That is what I want do but it doesn't...

Hi, Can someone point me to an .xml file that can be changed that tells CATIA which colors to show as default in the color palette? I have a custom one that I want to add so that it shows up in the standard colors. Thanks, Jake

Hi, I can seem to make my sub products flexible (pink gear) but can't for the life of me figure out how to get a flexible sub assembly (purple gear). Any ideas? Is it part of a package that I don't have?
