Is the baghouse indoors or outdoors?
If indoors does it need to be vented outside?
Is the dust hazardous?
Is it visible from outside the baghouse?

As a hood designer I need some information.
1.What "capture velocity" do you you think you need to pick up this dust and move it into your hood? 100 feet/min?
500 feet/min?
2. How far away is the hood slot or nozzle from the most remote dust particle that you want to collect? One foot? Two...
Is the baghouse in fact a "receiver" that is a part of your process?
Or is the baghouse a pollution control device to prevent the dust from contaminating the indoors or outdoors environment?

You could use a fabric filter to control the dust generated at the grinding and bag-dumping processes before the powder hits the slurry tank, couldn't you?

I'm not understanding your question. What do you mean by ID? and do you mean duct when you say flue? What is the baghouse filtering?
