Thanks corus
I tried to mesh each part individually, in part moudle the part becomes green. but when I get to assembly moudle the part becomes blue colour again. It looks like mesh in part doesn't applly to assembly. I am not sure, maybe I need to run a test run to find it out.

Hi, good day every one!!!
I have had a little problem with 6.7.
When I tried to mesh in an assembly, system ask me to make instance independent or mesh in part module.
I don't understand what's that for. If I make instance independent I will not able to update instance when I change parts, is...
Thank you so much.
He did a profile program in CATIA. He post it as an APT file so that he can post-process it with a 'out side CATIA' post-processor.
He wants CATIA automatically add the tolerance defined in CATIA program to the generated APT file.
same as the workpiece, he wants CATIA add...
Thanks Klaas2, so nice to have your reply.
But I am still confused. Could you please give me an example.
My friend wants the tolerance appear in APT file automatically.
I have had a look in the NC infrastructure file.
Do you mean that I can use pprint command in post processor?
Can I...

He wants to know how to include the workpiece (together with machining...
Thanks tbuelna, you are right.
I am not saying it is an administration problem. In fact, they tried hard to fix the problem and keep data safe in the same time. It is complex and hard work.
The thing is that we have to stop and wait until it is fixed.
I am patient enough to ignore the...
Thanks PeterGuy and Tbuelna. You both are right, I can not agree more.
The smarteam I am with used to be fine, all of a sudden it behaved crazily last week during administrator's holiday.
Clean up the working DIR should be a good practice, but for some reason, they only remove a few assemblies...
Thanks, Azrael. Your reply is good enough to satisfy me. I am not an administrator. So, I don't know what is going on too.
Wish they can find the problem and fix it.
Thanks again.

The team I am working with have got more than 5000 files on the desktop.
Is too many files on desktop a problem?
The real problems is that the top level assemblies don't link to latest sub assembly and parts anymore. They just call up very early versions as the latest, which is a disaster...
I ask question here, because the support team wasn't helpful.
It takes long time, and they only tell you how to install it not how to use it.
at least for me.
Thanks, Aerael,your answer is helpful.
