Thanks for your help. It is a LEED project, so I will have to review those guidelines. What you mentioned is what I ended up doing, modelling the heat exchanger as a low efficiency boiler.
I am fairly new to using Carrier and I am having trouble figuring out if it is capable of modelling a building that uses campus steam and a heat exchanger for the building hot water. Is carrier capable of this, if so, how is it done? I am using version 4.34. Thanks
