    Old Siemens datasheet needed

One more question: - the capacitor shown in the circuit har this data: 1µF +/-10% 1kV B25351-J1105-K000 I need to replace it as well. Found something here: https://www.elfaelektronikk.no/elfa3~no_no/elfa/init.do?toc=19344&pageSize=100&filterClause=COL_1%253D1%2520%25C2%25B5F but I am not...

    Old Siemens datasheet needed

Thanks for replays! I found a resistor with 50 W, so think we go for that. Space in the cabinet is not a problem. Yes I have found that at Siemens but those are newer models so I thought they are different. Assume that those resistors are not neded for new types. Am I right?

    Old Siemens datasheet needed

Hello, I am trying to find datasheet of an old Siemens vacuum contactor: 3TL 5100-1F 400A And / or Resistor: Siemens 470 Ohm, 110V 3 Ty S325-0E Attached is connection diagram. Actually, I am trying to find power rating for those two resistors, I need to replace them. Voltage between terminal...

    Generator breakdown

It is a CHP plant, used for greenhouse (is it called like that?).. I have asked to find out more about E/F elsewhere in the system, no replay yet.

    Generator breakdown

Hi, yes, we supplied the genset, and also control system, including protection. Not the switchgear etc.. About generatro beeing unearthed, that is common in the Netherlands, we have several plants like this one, and none of the generators are earthed in any way (only PE of course). But as you...

    Generator breakdown

Equipment was tested during commissioning. If it was tested after that again, I am not sure. Have no idea about those reports etc. you mention. I have already asked my colleagues at local office to ask the company that installed these breakers to check them all for possible faults. We will...

    Generator breakdown

Thanks guys for you coments! From the log it looks like both Gen. and Grid CB had multiple operations, apparently without anything initiating it. So, it may be that the generator got the damage on 03.sep. at 18:58, according to the Gen log. Breaker closed at 13:40 and did not open until 18:58...

    Generator breakdown

Here are logs from both protection units (generator and grid breaker) http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=537c5052-23cf-4fb3-a7a8-f55b76aa39c1&file=Gen_log.pdf http://files.engineering.com/getfile.aspx?folder=8553aeb6-9a3c-492e-ae95-bc80ac49a678&file=Grid_log.pdf...

    Generator breakdown

Hi, I wonder if the other breaker (grid breaker, utility breaker) might have some faults, because in log of prot. unit, we could see that this breaker did change status many times lately (before the fault) which is not normal there. Also, several times, there was an alarm we call Grid breaker...

    Generator breakdown

I try again... I have not been at site yet, I have not seen any pictures etc. Maybe during this week I will get a chance to travel there...

    Generator breakdown

Hi again, Now I got alarm list from SCADA, and it shows following alarms: Under frequency and under voltage, that is all. Unfortunatelly, alarm log from the protection unit dows not show anything from that day for some reason, nor several days around that day. I attach one more picture showing...

    Generator breakdown

Thanks guys for sharing your thoughts! Rasevskii, you are partially right, it is air cooled generator, driven by gas engine. It runs unattended, but it is in Europe (the Netherlands). It is around 6 years old. It could be dust as you say, I have been in the area before, and it can be pretty...

    Generator breakdown

Generator Sn=3021kVA, PF=0,8. CTs inside generator are 250/1A (apparently there is revised SLD which I did not find earlier). CTs outside of generator are 200/1 (for diff.relay)

    Generator breakdown

Thanks Erminio for the ides. We were also thinking of some kind of short circuit. When I first heard of the event, I also got info that it might have been that the breaker opened but got a flashover which may have caused this. I am still waiting for more info..

    Generator breakdown

Hi, Thanks for the input, I will ask for winding temp. record, not sure if it is available. I got information from site about the damage, I have not been there myself yet, it is in another country. I attach SLD for...

    Generator breakdown

Erminio, thanks for your comments so far. I am not sure what is In of the generator but I believe someting around 300A. I will check tomorrow though. Regarding your questions from your first post: so far I don't have anything more than these trends, but I have asked for more data. Fault record...

    Generator breakdown

I am sorry but that is all I have, the text is in Dutch, and I don't understand what it means. I have asked to get translation and also color copy, but I am still waiting for that. Generator is salient pole, gas engine driven, 1000RPM. I have also asked for log from the protection units, hope...

    Generator breakdown

Hi all, A generator was damaged few days ago, and I received some pictures showing few curves at the moment of the failure. I am not sure what the cause of the failure is/could be, so I wonder if someone out there might have seen similar before. There are few more curves I have but I think...

    generator exciter system

Maybe the problem occurs at 2,5MW, if it takes 8 mins to reach that load. Maybe with load less than 2,5MW there is no problem? Did you try to keep the load constant but lower than 2,5MW, say 2MW?
