Hi Guys!!
How it's going? I hope you are ok!
I'm facing with the flagepole connection warning and I don't how to fix it. The model consists in a box meshed with 3D elements and a wing made by two multilayer panels linked with 1D elements as you can se in the figure that I attach.

Hi rb1957 and karachun thanks for yours advice.
rb1957 in Argentina you put your different levels of education, for instance if you finish your bachelor in engineering, then you write Eng. XXXX. So, if you finish a master, then you write Msc. Eng. XXX.
I notice that I've written "Ing" instead...

Hi Guys
How it's going? I hope you are fine.
Here we go
I'm studying a simple rod - crank mechanism as a simplification of a complex model. My idea is try to set BC's and analysis type in order to be able to set the same in a hugh model. But, I was not able to set them in femap, since I don't...
Hi guys!!
How are you doing today? I hope you are fine
I'm stucking in modeling a contanier made of polyethylene, more presicely high density polyethylene. I can't find papers o bibliographi where they specify which kind of material model match better with polyethylene type materials...
Thanks fox
FEA way: I created two history output. One that it called YPR and other shock. The first one was created in order to monitor the Yaw, Pitch and Roll of the car, the other one contains CRF, CEF.
Mustaine3: The connector elastic forces in Y direction is fine and CEF1 and CEF3 are zeor...
Hi Guys!
How it's going!!
I took an old model from a old workshop of abaqus in order to understand how connectors work.
Four connectors were created in order to simulate the four shock absorver. The shock absorver was modeled with a cartensian and cardan connectors. It was set an elastic...
Hi everyone
How are you? I hope you ok!
I'm Domingo and I'm traying to mesh the geometry who *.sat file I've attached. In addition, You can see several images of the geometry and how was splited in different cells in order to use structural or swept meshed control. But, there exist some cells...
Yes TGS4 Sec VIII and III
I made a sub routine in matlab for calculate membrane, bending, membrane+bendig stress, using stress tensor components and I obtained the same result that in femap. But I have so many doubt about the procedure used for calculate the integrals shown in Sec VIII, Div2...
Ok TGS4
Here we go
I attached a .doc file when you can find what I want to say. There are 2 lines highlighted when it say:
SCL 6:
The Linearized Maximum Combined Membrane and Bending Stress is calculated as 80.187
The Maximum Tresca Stress along the SCL is 75.924
SCL7:
The Linearized...
Hi everybody!!
I have a big problem. I need to use both, glue and surface to surface contact properties, but at the same time in a model.
What can I do?
Do I have to exporte the model and then rewrite .dat file?
I know that NX. has an option for these questions.
Regard!
