    moving logix key?

    I know, know, "a friend of mine" gaveme a key disk and used the key on my home desktop when I should have put it on my laptop. when I try to move the activation back to the A drive it says activation code not found? I could use my deskyop but it costs too mush for a pci card and i have a pcmcia...
