Thanks NCProgrammer you confirmed what I thought. Wouldn't it be good if you could just model the Tool up & Catia used it to generate the cutter paths like most other CAD/CAM Systems!
User representaion is ok for video replay but I have Vericut for that!
I would like to create a custom Bull Nose Type Cutter that taper from Dia 20mm To Dia 16, to cut inside a closed angle.
I don't just want to create a representation because the tapered part of this cutter will be used for scanning some areas of the part, that & I'm also not sure how to do this...
Can anyone direct me to anywhere I can find out how to model & use a custom cutter in Advanced Machining. Catia is very limited to the types of cutter you can use. I've had a look at the help files etc but can't find anything
