    erratic oil production

well makes 50 b/d +/- oil -- 200+/- b/d water no gas next 2 days 4-5 b/d +/- oil --- 200 +/- water no gas well makes 50 b/d +/- oil --- 200+/- b/d water no gas this pattern has occured for over month the pattern used to be 4 days low oil production then one high for two months about 10 b/d...

    gor/glr math

i know i am not to smart so i would like someone to help if they would be so kind - to see if i am calculating correctly i am sure it is more complicated than below gor = mcf(gas)/bbl(oil) glr = mcf (gas)/bbl(liquid) 1700 mcf/day 950 bbls liquid 10 bbls oil gor = gor = scf/bbl glr = glr =...

    plunger lift

    I apologize for the question

    plunger lift

trying to determine how much it will help my cycles if I change my flow line from 2" to 3" and reduce my treater pressure

    gas interference

well has gone from 70 b/d to 50 b/d 65 mcf/d - would holding more back press on the tubing help - well seems to be flowing and pumping / one guy wants to run a larger pump - if in fact it is flumping I do not see how this will help the well is only been on pump for 6 months and flowed for about...

    fluid levels cbm wells

thanks for the info - can you explain a little more on the fiber optics equipment and their procedure for the chemical slip stream line have a nice weekend

    fluid levels cbm wells

as a former owner/operator of a mid-size production/drilling comapny that was started by grandfather in the early in the early 20's, i like you can attest to the lack of professional experience of the younger generations and a dependence just on technology ( shortage of experienced talent) we...

    fluid levels cbm wells

thanks for the information it is a little of both - mainly for information i wonder if i can get a refund on all this expensive echo-meter equipment?? kidding

    fluid levels cbm wells

what would be the normal procedure to obtain a fluid level in a cbm well - using the echometer and a belief in the accuracy of the information thank you

shooting fluid levels - obtaining down hole information esp wells

because of the cost of lowering the pump - assembly has a 40 horse motor and is currently running at its max i was thinking about reducing the hz in small increments over a 90 day period allowing the the fluid level to rise - placing the pump intake in a less gaseous part of the fluid column

shooting fluid levels - obtaining down hole information esp wells

the above mentioned well - pump intake appears to be located in the gaseous liquid level of the well. the pump is currently operating at max. rpm & amps @ 60hz there is no information available on the pump - the last pulling records do not make reference to the new pump installed - the...

shooting fluid levels - obtaining down hole information esp wells

thanks for the great information, i greatly appreciate your time and information. my experience with esp assemblies is limited, but i am trying. the pump intake is approximately 2000' above the perfs. seems high

shooting fluid levels - obtaining down hole information esp wells

thanks for the info. this is a well with very little information do not know brand of the pump or even if it has dh sensors here is what i think i know oil - 44 water - 1.05 surface tbg. pressure - 130 surface csg. pressure - 85 bhp - 1800 psi production 20 oil...

shooting fluid levels - obtaining down hole information esp wells

thanks for your help i thought i would adjust the hz in 30 minute intervals and reshoot the fluid levels - what do you think? we have about 30mscf/d gas should i expect much loss in pump efficiency do you think this gave you a good base line as far as bhp over the field

shooting fluid levels - obtaining down hole information esp wells

we are shooting fluid levels on esp wells with echometer differences i should expect from normal rod pumped well any differences in procedures and problems i should expect ? thank you
