What will be the best solution to avoid floating roof (Pontoon type) damages when the pig goes inside the tank?
The pigging operations are done by using Foam pig or Cup pig pressurized with Nitrogen.
Can it be avoided by using full contact floating roof?
Is it advisable to operate the IFR with Nitrogen blanketing when tank diameter is smaller?
Tank Diameter is 5 m and pressure of blanketing is 150 mm water column.

Can we use 25 mm copper braided wire for Anti-static for aluminium internal floating roof?
As for Aluminium IFRs, industry practise is to provide 3mm SS cables for maintaining continuity, which is connected to the cone roof at one end and the top side of Al.IFR at the other end.

Can we use 2 mm spring coil for Anti-static system for Aluminium Internal Floating Roof?
As per the API 650 Appendix-H multi-standard cable should be used for Anti-static system. Both having 0.2 ohms resistance.
Kindly confirm whether this 2 mm spring coil is acceptable or not?
is this possible to provide gauge pole cover for IFR tanks. Normally supplier using cover on deck and 5" clearance is there between still well pipe and the cover and this gab is to be covered by using seal materials.
How many no of anti rotation devices are using for AIFR and assuming 20 m dia tank then how many no of anti rotation device required?. Is there any calculation for this to arrive the quantity if so kindly share.

What is the size of deck drain pipe and which material can be used as drain. Normally use SS 304 material and the diameter of the pipe is 16 mm and 300 mm long for AIFR. Can we use the same size for crude storage tank or else we would go for bigger size.

Is there any specific standard for roller assembly for still well pipe? Normally we do use hallow pipe with cap both side welding. Is this Ok or should we solid rod for this.
